What is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Massage?
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is more than a cosmetic procedure, it is a process of renewal designed to help your whole body look and feel younger and healthier. If the individual’s relationship with the environment is reflected on the landscape of the body, then the face is the roadmap of this terrain. In Chinese medicine, organs have both a function and a channel pathway. Virtually all these channels rise to the face where they reflect the many imbalances that may be present on the organ level.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and Massage is a non-surgical method of reducing and preventing the signs of aging. In this technique, specific acupuncture points are chosen to manipulate the movement of Qi and blood in the face and body according to one’s individual needs. This method directs the flow of blood, lymph, and energy to the face. It plumps up, hydrates, and increases the skin’s supply of nutrients and oxygen, and decrease the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes.
What to expect in an acupuncture facial rejuvenation treatment
Facial rejuvenation treatments begin with a full intake and diagnosis according to the principles of Chinese medicine. Following a constitutional acupuncture treatment, I insert tiny needles into the face to tone sagging muscles and minimize the appearance of wrinkles. I add customized herbal masks and essential oils to the treatment in order to diminish the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and blemishes. This treatment, combined with a relaxing and reinforcing acupressure facial massage, will create a younger looking you on the outside and a sense of deep relaxation and well being from within.
Course of Treatment
A course of treatment for Acupuncture Facial Rejuvination is 10 sessions over the course of 5–10 weeks. After the initial 10 sessions, maintenance treatments can be scheduled anywhere from once a month to once a season.
